Military Applications
For the past 25 years, Spokane Industries has developed and maintains a long-term, successful relationship supplying high-quality castings to various branches of the military. Our castings are required to perform in the extreme environments of war zones and key military defense installations as well as Class 1 Armor Plating to protect our service men and women from RPG's and roadside bombs. We are able to achieve this by working closely with our military contractors on design requirements, fabrication to casting conversions, material selection, mechanical properties, and inspection requirements.
We have developed various parts for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, MIL-A-11356 Cast Armor for various military vehicles to protect the crew and equipment as well as a
Class 1 Armor Plate and cast alloy products that help reduce weight and lengthen life of these products.
Antenna Shields, Periscope Covers, Support Wheels, Idler Arms all have been produced in our Steel Foundry and Investment Casting Division where we proudly take part in the defense and security of this great country.
