Quality Assurance

As a manufacturer of top quality product, Spokane Industries has one of the most comprehensive quality control systems in the foundry for immediate and full-service quality control. Spokane Industries is continually pursuing and achieving the highest standards of quality in the industry. Quality that’s assured by thorough testing and monitoring throughout the manufacturing process.

Unlike some other foundry that must rely on outside labs for detailed analysis or problem solving, the Spokane Industries foundry can resource the on-site Quality Assurance lab should the need arise. This saves our customers valuable time and expense. Areas of our Quality Assurance lab expertise include analytical chemistry, engineering, metal/materials analysis and process technology. Furnished with state-of-the-art instrumentation and equipment, our lab has hard-to-find in-house x-ray facilities.

We work very closely with our customers to meet their specs, in making a high quality product with high Charpy values at low temperatures. Our customers have enough faith in us that they use a “dock to assembly line” transition where no additional measuring, testing or any further inspection is necessary.

We work on conversions of fabrications to castings as well as the redesigning of a casting.

Process & Capabilities

Full In-House Non Destructive Testing (NDT)

All of our NDT is performed In – House by Spokane Industries personnel that are all ASNT – TC- 1A certified to a level 2 or higher. We are one of a small percentage of foundries in America that offers on-site x-ray where we can assure that we meet our customers internal soundness requirements.
